Send someone
A vintage illustration of a curious person at a desk, imagining robots, space exploration and a brighter technological future.

I’d like to borrow your most curious employee.

Dear founders, team leads and whoever approves the travel budget,

I know there’s someone at your company who is always sending you links to interesting news stories or tech advancements. They’re probably the first to send you information about the latest AI models or new robots. They have far-out ideas that usually begin with “Hear me out.”

I’d like to borrow them for a few days in November.

Breakpoint is Solana’s annual tentpole conference, and it’s coming to Olympia London from 15 to 17 November. The programme† covers payments, digital assets, AI agents and consumer apps—all things that are definitely worth a look for any team building digital products, or the rails beneath them.

I bet you already know the person I’m talking about. They see things a bit differently. Whether something works or not, they wonder what else it could do. They ask outside-the-box questions and bring creative ideas that go from the whiteboard to experiments to your customers’ new favourite features.

They might have joined ten years ago or maybe three weeks ago. They might be reading this right now and getting ready to send it to you.

They don’t need to know anything about Solana, agents, or blockchain. Curiosity is enough. I just need a few days of their time to show them around.

All you need to do is buy them the ticket. You’ve already invested in this person’s judgement. Give them something new to work on.

If two people came to mind, send both. An engineer and a designer can walk past the same stand and come home with different questions.

Send the person who keeps sending you things.

It starts on a Sunday.

Breakpoint runs from Sunday 15 to Tuesday 17 November at Olympia London. That’s three days of conference for two working days away from the desk.

Add travel. From most of Europe it’s a short flight. From Paris, Brussels and Amsterdam it’s a train.

I think they mean me.

They probably do. Fill in the coupon and it becomes a note to the person who approves the travel budget. Edit it, copy it or open it in your email. You press send.

Please consider sending me to Breakpoint.

Anything you leave blank stays in [brackets] for later.

Nothing is submitted or saved. It all stays in this tab.

Your very reasonable request.

Questions people ask before they say yes.

Do they need to be building on Solana already?

No. General admission is the place to start. Developer tickets are for people actively building on Solana and need an application. Student tickets have their own eligibility. See the organiser’s current ticket options (opens in a new tab).

What should we budget for?

The ticket, travel, a hotel, meals and the working time away. Ticket prices are listed in US dollars on the official registration page, so check the live price before asking for approval. This invitation doesn’t cover travel or accommodation.

Can I send this to someone on my team?

That’s what it’s for. Add one real reason it made you think of them.

Is this a free ticket?

No. It’s an invitation to consider going, not an award, a nomination or a free ticket. Standard registration and eligibility apply. The booking link includes invitation code BP26-JOSH. Check the final price at checkout; don’t assume it applies to every ticket type.

Good invitations are personal.

This made me think of you.

Add one real reason. It’s the part they’ll remember.
